Woodbine Opry
Woodbine, Georgia is where you’ll find the WOODBINE OPRY-it’s an open mike jam session with some of the best musicians in the Deep South! We’ve got all the old-timey music you've been hankering for!
Opry music nights on Friday and Saturday are still going strong, so come on out and join us!

Admission to the music is free - donations cheerfully accepted.
Music starts at 7:00 PM
Cake Raffle/Intermission at 9:00 PM
We call it a night at 10 PM!
If you play an instrument, come join in! If you just sing, talk to us and if we know the song, we'll play the instruments to accompany you!
Acoustic instruments are welcome on Friday evenings--guitar, mandolin,
fiddle, dobro, upright bass, banjo, harmonica, accordion, autoharp,
other acoustic instruments--if it doesn't need to be amplified, you're
welcome to bring it Fridays--we've even had bagpipes here before!
Check in with Friday host Hoydt Drury to get in the lineup.
Electric instruments, keyboards/piano, pedal steel, amplifiers and drums
are allowed on Saturday evenings only. This night is not an open jam session.
The music is provided by the Woodbine Opry Band and the Saturday night host is Bob Staats. If you are interested in performing, contact Bob to check
on getting scheduled into the line-up. Only those musicians that are invited
by the host will be allowed to sit-in with the band.

Country Music in the Park
Country Legends 100.7 invites you to "Country Music in the Park" at Howard Gilman Waterfront Park in historic downtown St. Marys on Sunday, May 2nd from 3-5 pm.
"Country Music in the Park" will feature some of Southeast Georgia’s great country talent with radio pioneer Marshall Rowland as host and emcee in cooperation with St. Marys DDA.

St. Marys Starry Nights Series Brings Entertainment to the Waterfront
Beginning April 17, and extending beyond Labor Day, the City of St. Marys will be serving up monthly outdoor concerts and performances at the Howard Gilman Memorial Waterfront Park. Shows begin at 7 pm, and guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs.
July 10 - Lisa Allen's Dance Works (a fun filled evening of dance and a "Back to School Fashion Show").
August 14 - Big V. and the Screaming Deacons (oldies to contemporary)
September 18 - River Jam (battle of the youth bands)

North Beaches Art Walk (Every Third Thursday Each Month)
The Town Center comes alive with the North Beaches Art Walk every third Thursday of the month. Over 30 merchants and other venues are involved with one or more artists at each location. Most are within walking distance of each other. A limo is available at no cost, so visitors can travel to and from the different venues that are not within walking distance. Local musicians perform a range of mellow to rocking music from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. Visitors stroll and enjoy conversing with the artists, stopping to make purchases or to grab dinner. A fun evening for all!

St. Johns County Education Foundation Begins County-Wide School Supply Drive
The St. Johns County Education Foundation (SJCEF), the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District, announces the beginning of its third annual school supply drive, Tools for Schools.
Tools for Schools is a two-week school supply drive that is held at various businesses and organizations throughout St. Johns County. From July 26-August 13, donations can be brought to one of the many pre-determined drop-off points in St. Johns County.
This year, teachers in St. Johns County Schools are invited from 2 pm to 6 pm on August 17, 2010, to an all-expense paid shopping spree for school supplies. The school supplies that are donated during the two weeks will be stored at 236 SR 16, St. Augustine. Teachers are invited to come to this address on this date and collect any and all school supplies they will need for the coming school year.

WINGS OF DREAMS FLY-IN AT KEYSTONE HEIGHTS AIRPORT
Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum will host an aerobatic demonstration at its monthly Fly-In Breakfast on Saturday, August 7th from 8-11am at Keystone Heights Airport. World-Class aerobatic pilots will discuss the history of aerobatic flying and how to get started in aerobatic competition.

7th Annual Serenata Cup Gala and Golf Tournament, Sunday, August 15th and Monday, August 16th presented by the Serenata Beach Club and Honorary Chairman United States Congressman John L. Mica to benefit the St. Johns County Council on Aging.
The 2010 Serenata Cup Gala and Auction showcasing River House
with Congressman John Mica will take place on Sunday, August 15th at 6:00 pm at the River House
